Upon completing PA school, Jessica began working in the emergency department at Sentara RMH Medical Center. After 3 years, she found her way back here to JMU in the University Health Center for a better work-life balance. She has interests in health promotion and preventive medicine. She enjoys working with and educating college students as they begin to navigate the health care system.  “I appreciate enabling students to increase the control over and ultimately improve their own wellness.”

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, cooking, and planning her next beach trip. A quote she feels reflects her is: “If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started with a dream and a mouse.”– Walt Disney
