Our GYN Clinic, which is staffed by experienced GYN Nurse Practitioners, provides evaluation and treatment for various medical concerns specific to gynecological care. This clinic offers the following services:

  • Vaginal infections
  • Contraception advice and prescriptions 
  • Insertion and removal of IUDs and Nexplanon (depending on insurance coverage for the IUD or implant device). 
  • Period irregularities and concerns
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
  • Pregnancy testing and referrals
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Breast health assessment
  • Pelvic exams and pap smears
  • Other common women/GYN health issues

To schedule an appointment, go to MyJMUChart then choose the “Get Started” button under the General Medicine & GYN Clinic. Select Appointments along the left tool bar, then select the reason for your visit. Online appointments are available 48 hours before the appointment time.

Women with isolated urinary complaints consistent with urinary infection are seen in the Urgent Care Clinic.

**If you have received birth control from the Health Center before and need a new prescription (renewal), you can now request that thru MyJMUChart. Choose the Oral Contraceptive Renewal form on the home page.**
