LAXC is awarding multiple $500 Outstanding Student Scholarships to juniors & seniors in the LAXC minor, in recognition of their contributions to our community, OR to support a research or creative project, OR to support study abroad in Latin American and Caribbean countries.

Applicants should submit a 500-750-word statement that:

1.) addresses how your LAXC curriculum & experiences have supported your academic, professional, and/or personal goals.

2.) describes one or more of the following: your contributions to ethical community outreach & engagement an ongoing or proposed research or creative project your study abroad plans to a Latin American or Caribbean country In addition to the statement, applications should include a brief resume & the name of at least one LAXC instructor / mentor with whom they have discussed their application.
