Charles Lisanby (1924 - 2013) was an American designer who defined production design in early color television. He was nominated for sixteen Emmys and won three. In January of 2010, Lisanby was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame, making him the only production designer to date to receive this honor. Lisanby is also known for his close relationship with Andy Warhol that spanned for 10 years.

In 2013, a majority of Lisanby’s estate was donated to James Madison University's Madison Art Collection. The estate includes hundreds of paintings, drawings, film slides, scripts, and personal items. The estate also includes one of his Emmys and his Academy Hall of Fame award.
