Luke Saunders is a fifth year student studying Information Technology. From McLean Virginia, he moved to Harrisonburg to attend college. It was during his time at JMU that he became interested in working in the IT field.

Since his sophomore year, he has been actively involved in Esports. During the initial launch of the Esports program, he became one of the founders for the broadcasting team. He served as a commentator during the first few livestreams of matches on Twitch. Since then, Luke has assisted in developing the program to what it is today. Currently, he plays for the Varsity Valorant team as well as being an Esports coordinator for the program.

In addition to his involvement in Esports, Luke has attended several classes at X-Labs. X-Labs has provided him with the resources to support limitless creativity and freedom in innovation. It his goal to continue his professional development in X-Labs and through the College of Integrated Science and Engineering.

After graduation, Luke plans to pursue a career in cyber security with the goal to become a video game designer.
