What do I do at the Counseling Center?

Currently, I work at the Counseling Center as an Outreach Graduate Assistant. In this role, I assist with hosting seminars on different mental health topics that may be relatable to students who are attending JMU. This includes topics like managing ADHD symptoms, reducing stress, the impacts of social media, dealing with depression, and other issues that may be overwhelming for a student. Please know that I will always have a smile on my face, and a laugh sitting somewhere in my stomach waiting to come out. I know how difficult college can be for a student so my hope is to bring some humor to topics that may be stressful.

What do I do at JMU outside of the Counseling Center?

I am in my first year of the JMU Clinical Mental Health Counseling M.A./ Ed.S program and a proud alumnus of George Mason University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the Counseling Center I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, all things fitness, and hiking.
