What do I do at the Counseling Center?

Hello! My name is Milo and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Counseling Center! I earned my Alliance of Therapy Dogs certification in September, 2023 and am a little over a year old.

Most of the time, I can be found walking around the CC with my handler (that’s my mom!) to check in with staff and students, or taking a break in my comfy bed on my mom’s desk. You might see me outside the SSC, or at an outreach event. I might even bark at you to say, “Hello!” I promise, I’m friendly, I just REALLY want to meet you! Also, if you crouch down, I’ll probably think you want to play and start barking and bouncing back and forth, which can make it hard for you to pet me. Because I am still in training and can get overwhelmed, sometimes my handler will scoop me up to greet you.
