For marketing majors who want to learn consumer behavior and services marketing, this cross-cultural study experience will provide an excellent opportunity to learn and apply these in a global context.

Before the departure, students will attend and complete coursework starting in April 2025

In mid-May, after the completion of the finals week, we will depart for the travel. First, we will start with a yacht excursion to the Greek Islands of Kos, Tylos, Nysiros, Rhodes, and Simi.

After the completion of Greece portion, we will stay in Bodrum, Turkey. Bodrum is one of the largest tourism destinations in Europe. The program will complete after three weeks abroad.

Location Description

First week of the program will take place in a number of Greek islands. The last two weeks of the program will take place in Bodrum, one of the most popular tourism destinations in Turkey. Students will conduct on-site visits of a number of businesses such as shipyards, fisheries, a variety of hotels and resorts and restaurants, wineries and breweries, and other service businesses. By visiting similar businesses in Greek islands, students will have an opportunity to compare and contrast how two countries' consumer behavior and service marketing practices differ.
