A native of Port Republic, Virginia, Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech. Cindy has been with the Office of Research Integrity since September, 2014, and is responsible for administering the Institutional Review Board (IRB) program for protections in human subjects research. Cindy’s responsibilities include ensuring that student and faculty researchers are compliant with federal and state regulations as well as university policies in human research protocols.
