Your degree will open opportunities to better jobs and salaries. BR2JMU helps you save money along the way.

In BR2JMU, you'll save money earning your college degree by attending two years at BRCC tuition rates and two years at JMU tuition rates.

If you choose to live at home during all four years of college, you'll gain additional savings on room and board costs.

You'll have opportunities to apply for financial aid and scholarships at each institution as you progress through the program.

The deadline to apply for BRCC scholarships this year is June 1, 2025

When you are ready to transition, you will have the opportunity to apply for financial aid and scholarships at JMU, including the Virginia Two-Year College Transfer Grant. The transfer grant awards $1,000 per year to elgible students in most majors, or $2,000 for students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields or education. To qualify, you must earn an associate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and meet other elgibility requirements.
