The field of Media Arts and Design plays an important role in shaping our ever-evolving global society. Studying Abroad not only immerses students in a cultural experience but also grants them access to study how people influence and relate to one another in written and visual symbols through mediated communication (print, electronic and online). Suddenly a “foreign film” is no longer foreign, but an expression of something they too have lived and experienced.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
