Among other things in OSARP, my main responsibilities include:

• Managing the Educational Programs unit, including supervision of the Coordinator, Educational Programs and the Personal Success Programs staff
• Participating as a Case Administrator to adjudicate major, minor, and flexible cases of alleged policy violations of the Student Handbook
• Coordinating the Mentor Experience and Moving Forward programs
• Overseeing OSARP assessment efforts, especially as they relate to educational programs
• Coordinating outreach efforts for OSARP

I graduated from JMU with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) with a dual concentration in Energy and Environment. After a couple years away, I returned to JMU and began a Masters of Education in the College Student Personnel Administration (CSPA) program. During my time in the CSPA program, I served as a Graduate Assistant in OSARP working with Substance Education programming and our Personal Success programs. Upon reaching a Double Duke status, I joined OSARP in a full-time capacity as the Coordinator for Educational Programs and served in that role until taking over as the Assistant Director for Educational Programs in 2023.
