About Me
I first started at JMU as an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Spanish. After I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree, I started as a graduate student in JMU’s College Student Personnel Administration (CSPA) program. I completed the CSPA program when I received a Master of Education degree, which makes me a double Duke! Now, I am taking classes towards an MBA in JMU's College of Business.
I began working in OSARP as the Substance Education Graduate Assistant in 2016 while I was a student in the CSPA program. Then, in August 2017, I was hired to work full time as the Coordinator for Substance Education until I was hired as the Assistant Director for Restorative Practices. Then, in June 2021, I was hired for my current position as the Associate Director, Student Handbook & Educational Resources.
I love working at JMU because of the spirit, care, and resiliency of our community. Further, I value being a member of the OSARP team because of our focus on restoration, education, development, and personal/community success.
