About Me

I graduated from JMU in May 2022 with my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Geographic Science. As an undergraduate student, I was involved in several organizations, including the Marching Royal Dukes, JMU Pep Band, and Kappa Kappa Psi. Through those experiences, I was able to find a passion in working with college students and providing support in allowing them to learn and grow as individuals. As a result, I found interest in pursuing a career in higher education and applied to JMU’s College Student Personnel Administration (CSPA) Master of Education program and began my CSPA journey in August 2022. I graduated with my Master’s degree in May 2024, which officially makes me a “Double Duke”!

Since the start of my time in the CSPA program, I have had incredible opportunities to serve in multiple capacities across campus. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I served as the Graduate Assistant for Outreach with Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression (SOGIE) as well as in multiple roles as a practicum student in the Office of Residence Life, with Student Learning Initiatives and Conference Services. At the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, I began working with OSARP as the Graduate Assistant for Restorative Practices. In March 2024, I began my first full-time role as the Coordinator for Organizational Accountability with OSARP, where I have the opportunity to continue to assist students in their personal and organizational development through thoughtful conversations and guidance.
