About Me
I graduated from Mary Washington College with a double major in Spanish and Psychology. I attended graduate school at Appalachian State University where I obtained my Master's degree in Student Development. I worked at the University of Maryland, College Park, for two years as a Hall Director. I began my work at James Madison University in 2001 in the Office of Residence Life as an Area Coordinator. In 2006, I started working in the Office of Student Accountability & Restorative Practices (OSARP) as an Assistant Director. Since that time, I have also been an Associate Director and now serve as the Director in OSARP. I completed my Ph.D. in strategic leadership at JMU in the summer of 2020. I am a member of several national organizations (ACA, ACPA, NASPA, and ASCA) in order to continue to learn more about assisting college students in every way I can. I enjoy learning and working in an environment with colleagues who are focused on student development and growth.
