Rebecca Wood joined the UREC Team in 2023. As the Office Manager, she oversees and ensures all office operations are in compliance with UREC’s Mission and procurement guidelines, provide administrative support to the Director of UREC and Professional staff, manages and coordinate office supplies and equipment. She also coordinates travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports for staff. She has been employed with JMU for 8 years. 

She is a Lifelong resident of the Shenandoah Valley. She has been married to Mike for over 30 years and has 2 sons (Cody and Dylan) and 2 grandchildren (Ava and River).  

Rebecca enjoys spending time on the Shenandoah river and hiking the surrounding mountains. She is also committed to volunteering for a Shenandoah County non-profit agency (Response, Inc) that provides shelter, advocacy and resources to survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
