Goalball

Goalball is a silent team sport where players score points by rolling a ball with bells into an opponent's net. Participants play on their hands and knees and use their hearing to block shots.

To play, please email the Coordinator of Operations 48 hours ahead of time for set up.

Sitting volleyball is a team sport with the objective to send the ball over the net and ground it in the opponent's court to score points and prevent the same effort by the opponent. 

To play, please ask the Recreation staff to set up the net.

Wheelchair are available at the Equipment Center. The current chairs do not have lap belt or leg straps. We are in the process of purchasing additional adaptive sports equipment.

Fitness Programs

  • Fitness Orientation1-on-1 orientation session with a UREC Fitness Manager that will be personalized to meet your goals and can include any of the following: tour of the facility, Fitness Center policy and procedure, how to use a piece of equipment, how to perform a specific lift or movement, and basic fitness program guidelines.

Group Exercise offers over 100 classes each week during the semester. All level are welcome to join. Group Exercise instructors may offer guidance and modification to some exercise. The Coordinator of Group Exercise is happy to meet to discuss your intrests and needs to help you find what class or accomodation may work for you.
