Graphic Design majors not only study visual perception, methods, craft, and technology of design, but also the historical and cultural context of design in order to broaden their knowledge base. Studying abroad as a Graphic Design major will give students the opportunity to add to their portfolios while expanding their perspectives on culture and design. Studying Abroad can also be a great time to gain cross-cultural skills by satisfying general education requirements or the elective credits allotted to Graphic Design majors.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
