Except for softball gloves, equipment for UREC Intramural Sports is provided for all sports. This includes sticks, balls, bats, pinnies, etc. You do NOT need to check these out at the UREC Equipment Center. The equipment will be at the fields/courts. You may choose to bring your own equipment if it meets standards outlined in the sport's rules.
A forfeit deposit is a fee paid prior to the season that will be returned in full if your team does not forfeit any games. Forfeit deposits can be paid at the UREC Welcome Center via FLEX ONLY. You will need to know your sport, league, division (days of play) and team name.
UREC Intramural Sports student managers are available at UREC Sunday through Thursday, 3 pm - 4:45 pm. During this time, you can call them at 540-568-8786, email them at urec-intramurals@jmu.edu or visit the UREC Welcome Center and let them know you are there for Intramural Sports Office Hours.

View the Eligibility section in the Intramural Sports handbook. If you are still not sure, or have questions pertaining to a suspension, contact the Intramural Sports professional staff at least 24 hours prior to your next game.
You will be directed to log in through urecregister.jmu.edu. Your password is the same as your JMU MyMadison/email password. Make sure to use your e-ID as your username (ex: motivamm) and ensure you do not include @dukes.jmu.edu. If you need to reset your JMU password, please contact the JMU Helpdesk. If you still have issues following this, please email urec@jmu.edu.
Please view the instructions outlined on this page. The deadline to notify UREC Intramural Sports (urec-intramurals@jmu.edu) is 4 pm on the day of the game.
