Peace Corps & Career Pathways

Tuesday, February 4th | 4:30pm-5:30pm | Taylor Union, Room 405

Learn how to build your career path through the Peace Corps! A speaker from the Peace Corps will give an overview of the Peace Corps Prep certificate and the volunteer experience after graduation. Plus, a panel of returned Peace Corps volunteers and JMU staff will share their personal stories and explain how both Peace Corps Prep and volunteer service can open doors for your career growth.

Global Cuisine: Italy

Learn to prepare one of our Global Ambassador's favorite dishes from her time in Italy. While you cook and eat, Abby will share stories about her Semester in Florence.

Join ISEP to learn about exciting summer, semester, and year-long programs tailored to STEM majors, including high-impact experiences, and courses that complement your academic and professional goals. This session is for you if you are studying or plan to study in the College of Integrated Science and Engineering, College of Science & Mathematics, or certain fields in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies (Health Professions, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Nursing).

Peace Corps- Meet & Greet Warmup

Drop by and chat with peers and professionals about the Peace Corps Prep program! You’ll get tips on the application, learn about the certificate requirements, and meet other students interested in the program. It’s a great chance to connect one-on-one with Peace Corps reps, peer advisors, and GLP staff to get all your questions answered! Snacks and warm beverages provided.
