Study abroad fosters appreciation for other cultures and promotes the knowledge of the cultural significance behind dances or other works of art. Studying abroad provides the experience to see foreign performances and study how other cultures design and carry-out theatrical shows. Studying Abroad can also be a great time to gain cross-cultural skills by satisfying General Education requirements or the elective credits allotted to Theatre and Dance majors.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
