This example shows how a vertical print ad could be handled. Embracing the doing the thing construct, the graphic line connects the supporting statements with the headline showing the evolution of an idea over time.
A series of subordinate “doing the thing” statements can resolve on a “doing the thing” headline.
A subtle JMU Purple gradient should be used when legibility is a concern. However, gradients should be used sparingly to avoid making the photo too dark and to avoid purple skin tones.
