The IT-Telecom Office issues monthly bills, which can be accessed by the Department Billing Contact via the Customer Portal in PCR 360. The Departmental Usage Report will show telecom charges. Telecom billing encompasses a range of charges, such as JMU Telephone Charges, Cellular Charges, Conference Call Charges, Cable TV Charges, and so on. The Department Billing Contact now has access to retrieve their department billing via the Customer Portal in PCR 360, and gain complete control of department billing with ease!  Stay on top of your department's finances and never miss a beat with our PCR 360 Customer Portal.

How do I get a copy of a previous Telecom Departmental Usage Report?

In order to get a copy of a previous Telecom Departmental Usage Report, you must be a departmental telecom billing coordinator and have completed the PCR 360 Customer Portal – Billing training successfully. Once the billing process is completed, an email will be sent to you with a link to the portal where you can access your invoice.  To log in, use your JMU credentials.  As a billing coordinator, you will be able to access the monthly invoices at any time, dating back to August 1, 2023.

How do I add a new department and department ID number?
To create a new department and department ID number, you need to have budget authority for the department. If you have budget authority, please send an email to telecom@jmu.edu with the following information: the name of the new department, the department ID number, and the name of the billing contact. It is also necessary to include the billing contact's phone number, MSC code, and JMU email address. To gain access, the billing coordinator must have completed the PCR 360 Customer Portal - Billing training.

How do I move Telecom services from one department ID to another (for budget purposes)?
To move services from one department to another, you must have departmental budget authority. If you wish to request a department ID move, please send an email to telecom@jmu.edu with the following details: service name, service number, department name/ID the service is moving from, department name/ID the service is moving to, and the date you want the change to occur. If you are moving services for an entire department, listing individual services is not necessary. Simply request to move all services from one department to another.

I have a question regarding a charge on my Telecom Departmental Usage Report. How do I find out what the charge is for?
First, you must have departmental budget authority to request information regarding specific charges. To ask about a charge, please send email to telecom@jmu.edu. Please include the subscriber name, subscriber number, or service number, date of report, and the amount.

How do I request call detail for a particular service number?

To obtain call details, you must fulfill two requirements: first, you need to be a departmental telecom billing coordinator, and second, you should have completed the PCR 360 Customer Portal – Billing training. After meeting these prerequisites, access your bill and click the down arrow to reveal details for the respective number in question.


How do I change a departmental billing contact for a particular department?

To request a change in your department's contact information, you need to have budget authority. To remove an old contact and add a new one, please send an email to telecom@jmu.edu. In the email, please include your department's name and ID, as well as the old contact's information. When adding the new contact, please provide their name, phone number, MSC code, and JMU email address. To gain access, the billing coordinator must have completed the PCR 360 Customer Portal - Billing training.

How do I request international access on my JMU telephone?
First, someone with budget authority in your department has to request this service. If you have budget authority, you may make this request. To request international access, please send email to telecom@jmu.edu. Please include subscriber name, subscriber number, department name and department number. A work order will be submitted and your phone will be programmed for international access. You will be contacted when the service is active.
